Josie
Licensed Master Esthetician | PCA SKIN Revision Specialist
Josie brings 20 years of Medical Spa experience to Asteria. She believes that SKIN care is SOUL care. She has a deep passion for living a holistic lifestyle, and helping her guests skin reflect beauty from the inside out. Her expertise in treating aging skin and acne through skin revision peels and oxygenating facials can help you find your own personal glow! Outside of the Spa, Josie loves spending time with her husband, practicing yoga, collecting house plants, and enjoying a good indie playlist. She absolutely loves cooking and sharing her recipes for healthy meals.

Licensed MAster Esthetician | Yon-Ka Specialist
Pamela brings 19 years of luxury spa experience to Asteria. She believes every client deserves professional, attentive & friendly service in a pampering environment and her goal is to provide the best possible experience & results, as well as a holistic, approachable way of understanding your skin’s needs & maintenance. Pamela wants you to leave the treatment room feeling relaxed, confident & well taken care of. Outside of the Spa, she enjoys cheering on the Hawkeyes with her husband & son, spends time gardening, traveling & time on the lake with family & friends.
Tessa
Licensed Massage Therapist
With 14 years of experience, you’re in good hands when you get on Tessa’s table.
Since graduating from the Aveda Institute in 2010, Tessa has refined her craft as a bodyworker to combine deep tissue techniques, movement and stretching modalities to help clients deeply relax and find relief from chronic pain.
She leverages her extensive knowledge of human anatomy, consultative skills and experience to provide highly customized and effective massage services.
At Asteria Spa, Tessa offers: Swedish massage, deep tissue, cupping, hot stone, reflexology and warm bamboo.
Averi
Licensed Massage Therapist
Averi graduated from the Texas Center of Massage Therapy in 2014 and returned to Iowa in 2020. With years of experience in dental hygiene and massage therapy, she brings an extensive understanding of both the anatomical and physiological aspects of the body. Her diverse clinical background allows her to create a truly personalized and holistic approach to massage, addressing both physical tension and emotional release—a passion that drives her practice.
Averi works with clients to identify the most effective modalities for their unique needs. Whether through gentle relaxation techniques or targeted therapeutic work, her goal is to help each client achieve their optimal well-being.

Dr. Monica is the Medical Director of Asteria Spa, dedicated to helping clients achieve their best, most natural look. With expertise in Botox and dermal fillers, Dr. Monica enhances clients’ features to bring out natural beauty, complementing the spa’s skin treatments for a refreshed, youthful glow. She combines a keen eye for aesthetics with precision techniques, ensuring safe, subtle, and beautiful results that enhance each client’s unique look. Dr. Monica is committed to helping clients embrace their natural beauty with confidence and leave feeling rejuvenated and empowered.

Cosmetic Injector
Camille Schremser is a dynamic Registered Nurse with a flair for aesthetic treatments. Certified in Botox, fillers, dermaplaning, and Glo2 facials, she combines her strong surgical background with a passion for enhancing natural beauty. With an infectious enthusiasm for her work, Camille is dedicated to helping clients look and feel their best, bringing a fresh energy to the world of cosmetic nursing.
Cassidy
Licensed Esthetician
Cassidy brings much to Asteria as an esthetician! She offers a variety of services but her favorites are Geneo Glo2facials, Dermaplaning and Brazilians. She has always had a deep love for self care and skincare, which eventually lead her to becoming an Esthetician. Cassidy is currently in college pursuing a nursing degree to become an aesthetic nurse. Her passion is helping others feel confident in their own skin! Outside of the Spa and schoolwork, she enjoys hanging out with her friends, & family, spending time scrolling through Tiktok and contributing to her online shopping & coffee addiction.

Licensed Esthetician
Tori is one of the first friendly faces you’ll see at Asteria Spa. With her bubbly and sweet personality, she ensures every guest feels warmly welcomed. As a licensed esthetician, she also offers impeccable brow and lash services, bringing her expertise to every client she serves. Tori is a valued member of the team, dedicated to making sure your experience at Asteria is nothing short of exceptional.
Chelsey
Director of Operations
Chelsey holds a Master’s degree in Social Work and brings years of experience from the caring professions to her role at Asteria Spa. Combining her passion for wellness with a deep love for the beauty industry, Chelsey has created Asteria Spa as a safe haven where mind, body, and soul come together. Every detail of the spa is thoughtfully designed to offer a holistic approach to self-care, ensuring that clients leave feeling refreshed and empowered to take on the world.
As the Director of Operations, Chelsey oversees the daily functions of Asteria Spa, ensuring that each client receives an impeccable experience. However, her mission extends beyond client care. Alongside her husband, Chelsey is dedicated to cultivating a safe, supportive, and healthy work environment for her team.
